Helen E Beauty Cubes

I am now selling Helen E Beauty Cubes. These have in them, the eye shadows, liners etc., needed to create a certain eye.  For example, one for a Smokey eye, one for a natural eye, and one for a great foundation base and so on... i also sell all sorts of other Helen E products separately and FM cosmetics. FM are good for really dark Caribbean skin tones.  I can also give comparisons to more expensive products such as MAC Cosmetics and all the pros and cons.  Let me know if you are interested.

College Comp!

What an AMAZING day at college doing practical yesterday!  We experimented with colours, cremes, eye shadows, allsorts.  I worked on Luke who is a makeup legend and then he worked on me.  Luke's look was inspired by Boy George, mine just something i had seen on google images.
I cannot wait to more of these, i love them because they are soo different from my business which is every day makeup, night out, prom and weddings etc.

This was my work on Luke using Ben Nye eye shadows (dark plum, light purple, pink) and a cheapy bright pink blusher.  THAT WAS IT!!

Luke's Boy George look on me.  Used mainly Ben Nye eye shadows, black gel liner and red Mac lip from viva glam range with dark eye shadow mixed in.

Our fellow college geek Sophie who was worked on by Jessey.  Wish i had got the full face it was amazing.



Me having blow dried Luke's hair.  Only ever dried mine and my daughters and his hair is soooo long!  Not TOO bad though I don't think.

I will hopefully get better pictures as we are recreating these looks on Wed for an in house competition.  The winner gets to go to an exhibition :D.

Daughters pamper party!

Well, my little Shelbi turned 9 on Sept 10th.  She said she is "too old" for a party so she had some school friends round for a pamper party. 

They had an absolute ball......

Oh yes! The nail kit. Nightmare. She wants them on now, but not allowed for school. Ooooh they grow up too quick. Even got hand art??????

Freshers Fair

OK so last week I attended the freshers fair at Blackpool & The Fylde College.  It was a fun day out.  We had a makeup stall where we offered free makeovers and generally just messed about with some eyeshadow techniques.
As it was for new students there was lots of info on student discounts including dominoes pizza, gym memberships, cheaper swimming, 30% off a cookie shop.....all sorts.

If you are a student buy your NUS card for £12 there are hundreds of offers and discounts.  I know you get discount from New Look and Matalan to name just a few.  INVEST

Here is a cheaky peek at our makeup stand.

 This girl is gorgeous.  I used Cranberry and Embark MAC eyeshadows.  The rest of the face was from the L3 media makeup college kit.

Going to bed with your makeup on........we have all done this at some point BUT remember it ages your skin by 8 days each time you do. Always cleanse and tone after a hard day! My favourite is MAC Cosmetics cleanse off oil. Great for my dry skin. What's yours?

Right......I've started it properly. Just on the rule of thirds to see how a good picture can make your eyes flow naturally around the picture and draw your attention to certain objects.

I have used bits and pieces of each product and am happy to answer any questions about the products honestly.
Obviously there is a big price difference between these products and brands such as MAC so there will be pros and cons to both.

Busy few days!!

Hi y'all. Oh my gosh. It has been so busy the last few days. Induction to another makeup course, induction to a night time photography course, got loads of homework, as well as practising looks, being a mum etc etc etc lol.
