Tans and Lashes

I did Mum's lashes. They look fab. She has never had them before so I used the short ones. Jusat wish I’d have taken a before shot :(

The lovely Gail had a spray tan and also has lashes on.

Experimenting with some greens.  Some lovely colours mixed together.  I defined her brows to so the rest of the face was neutral and natural.

Sienna X arrival

Finally arrived  yipeeeee, now to tan my Mum and if I likey, I will purchase some more :D

Halloween memories

Just found these from Halloween, oh what a laugh we had. Hoping to perfect these types of looks on the upcoming Media Makeup course. It involves face and body painting too. Excited muchly, BRING ON SEPTEMBER!!!!

Love these lashes

Absolutely love these lashes. I bought them from MAC for about £30 (ish) well worth it though all the lashes are brill.

Getting lashy

Met a new contact today and purchased some AMAZING new lashes. Also VAT free at the local supplier so stock up on individuals, glue etc. Bought some new cheeky nail polishes too really bright to lighten the mood :D

SIENNA X SPRAY TANNING

Purchased some sachets of SIENNA X body polish, moisturiser and tan prolonger. Excited muchly, this is my favourite tanning product by far and the finished spray tan is even and natural even when darker.

I practised the first Sienna X on my boyfriend and he had a lovely tanned glow.

***thumbs up***

LEOPARD PRINT EYES

LOVE this look. Didn’t take as long as you may think and it was nice to experiment. I completed the eyes before the face so that if I made a mistake it was easily removed without having to patch up the foundation etc.

I used a brown shade of eye shadow and added liquid liner for the animal print shapes. Then I added some brown pigment into each animal print shape adding depth. First of all I tried this on a pro chart to ensure the products all worked together.  If you like this then get some pro charts or models if preferred and get experimenting. (most people are happy to have a free makeover while you are playing around :D)

Sneaky peek at just some of the products I use..........

As you can see I have some MAC Studio Sculpt, in my opinion, this is one of the best foundations out there. You can apply a thin layer but also build this up for a full coverage. I use this product on most brides and find it generally suitable for most skin types.  (no complaints as yet lol)

Strobe cream is a good one for a luminous look under foundation. (That’s the white product.)
At the back there is a mixture of MAC eye shadow palettes and also some Front Cover. Front Cover is bright and mixes well with the MAC.
An array of blushers all MAC most mineralise but some just the normal range.
I have in the MAC stacker pots some pigments, gotta love pigments. My favourite is the Vanilla and I use this often as a highlighter.

A busy Saturday

Saturday was a fun day. Did 2 girls for a 60th bday party and another for a trendy house warming party. Also did some lashes and spray tans but I won’t be showing pictures of them, lol.

As ever I used MAC for the makeup.  For the tan I used Lauren Goodger’s product.  This seems really good and gives a natural sun kissed glow.

On the eyes here I have used, Retrospeck all over the lid, sumptuous olive in the crease blended out and bit of plumage to the outer corner. Plum foolery blush on cheek bones and Girl About Town on the lips.

This lady had lovely skin colouring so on the eyes I used Cranberry and blended some Embark in the crease. Fluid line using an angled liner brush too upper and lower lash line and Vanilla pigment to highlight brow bone. Speed Dial on the lips gives some colour but not too bright.

The lovely Laura here, one of my regulars has tried various looks. On Saturday she was off to a house party and wanted a nice look that was not too much. On the eyes we used Brule over a matte paint pot (I always use a paint pot before eye shadow) then blended satin taupe in crease and slightly higher taking it towards the brow bone. She had a thin line of fluid line and I applied some natural lashes.

Photoshoot

Had an amzing time at Kelly Couttie Photography doing some girly shoots.  All hair by Teresa Becket, Makeup by myself, and Photography by Kelly Couttie.

Nice simple shoot with dark sexy eyes.  Great model too.  Had such fun.

Very much defined eyes so kept natural on the lips to balance this out.

Now a little colour on the lips.  Girl About Town by MAC (of course)

Now the lovely Teresa. Very nervous she was but I think she did brilliantly as you can see. A Marilyn Monroe inspired look with fluid line on the upper lash line with a careful flick. For lips I went for Auburn Lip Pencil with a dark matte red. I contoured the cheeks with a darker shade of bronzer. Worked well I think.....

Before and after

All MAC products used on the lovely Laura.  A day spent at a friends just doing makovers for the hell of it :D One of my favourite lipsticks too.  Shade High Tea

Spray tans

Gorgeous spray tan done tonight.  Quite like the Lauren Goodier product.  Natural healthy glow.

Gorgeous MAC eyeshaddows in Cranberry and Embark.  Usual MAC primers and Studio Scult Foundation.  FLuid line eye liner/paste and Speed Dial lipstick also from MAC.
Au naturel and defined brows before the real fun starts!
Currently offering makeup for any occasion, party lashes and spray tans.  Some pix will be uploaded shortly!
